Here is an abbreviated list of events that occur during the annual Can Picafort fiestas.

3 August:

22:00 - Outdoor “supper”, with DJ Monty.
Place: Plaça de sa Residencia.

4 August:

23:00 - “Fire Run” with the devils, accompanied by the Colla (Gang) de Semenrefum. Place: Leaves the sports hall and then arrives in
Plaça Cervantes. PLEASE TAKE CARE: this is what it says it is - a fire run.

5 August:

19:30 - Procession with the Cornet Band of Can Picafort.

6 August:

18:00 - Sandcastle competition.
Place: Club Gregal (Main Beach).

20:00 - Treasure hunt for 14 year-olds and above. (Really for locals only. Teams of five. Bookings on 3 August morning at the Municipal Building ).
Place: Plaça Cervantes.

22:00 - Outdoor cinema. “Cars”, director John Lassiter (in Catalan).
Place: Plaça de sa Residencia.

7 August:

22:30 - Ball de Bot (traditional folk dance and music) with the groups Revetlla d’Algebelí and Música Nostra.
Place: Plaça de sa Residencia.

8 August:

17:00 - Performance by Quintet Urfé (Cuban music).
Place: Civic Centre, Via Suissa 50.

18:00 - The Greasy Pole (climb).
Place: Moll Antic (old pier).

22:30 - Outdoor cinema. “Spiderman-3” (in Catalan).
Place: Plaça de sa Residencia.

9 August:

22:30 - Foam party with mobile disco.
Place: Plaça Cervantes.

10 August:

24:00 - The Till Dawn Party. DJs Superpitcher, Diego Ortega, Paco Garcia and groups No Lo Sabemos and Dinamo. Place: Sports arena.

11 August:

12:30 - Regatta.
Place: leaves Moll Antic (old pier).

19:30 - Ecology Night Fair with music from Tomeu Penya and the Orquestra Géminis. Place: Plaça Cervantes.

12 August:

12:00 - Regatta:

20:00 - Mass.

24:00 - Grand fireworks display and “piromusicals”.
